Workforce Mobility Act Proposed

This measure (S. 220) would ban the use of post-employment non-compete agreements in the U.S. The bill would allow such agreements in some situations (e.g., accompanying the sale of a business). The bill is similar to a Federal Trade Commission’s proposed rule that would do the same, labeling non-compete agreements as an unfair trade practice. #IdeaoftheDay
