It’s estimated that 34% of the workforce is now involved in the gig economy; it’s projected to increase to 43% by 2020. According to a Compare Cards survey 58% of those with sideline gigs want to turn them into full-time careers (71% of those with arts and crafts gigs). The survey also found that many mix business and personal finances, with only 27% having a business credit card.
