Tax Day Is One Week Away

April 15—one week from today—is the deadline for filing 2024 federal income tax returns for individuals and calendar-year C corporations, as well as the date for paying the first installment of estimated tax for 2025. Those living abroad have until June 16. Those victimized by a federal disaster have additional time to file. This is also a reminder to file returns for previous years if you haven’t yet done so. You can find forms for years before 2024 from the IRS. The sooner you correct this, the smaller the penalties. #IdeaoftheDay
