Started in 1999 by Pet Sitters International, Take Your Dog to Work Day has grown in popularity (and the organization supports Take Your Dog to Work Week from June 21 through today). If you’re a business owner who wants to let the staff participate in today’s event, be sure to make the terms clear about bringing a pet to your premises (e.g., limit on size, leashing, barking, or other noises) and don’t force other employees to interact with pets. #IdeaoftheDay
