Support Small Business R&D Act

It’s been estimated that more than 70% of eligible small businesses don’t claim the research credit to which they are entitled. A bill (S. 650) unanimously advanced by the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee on August 2, 2017, would require the IRS and the SBA to train small business owners and start-ups about the research credit. There’s an identical bill (H.R. 1543) in the House.
