Today is the 58th Super Bowl in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Typically, this sports event is a big revenue generator for local businesses (e.g., restaurants, motels, Airbnb), but given the continuing impact of the pandemic, it’s too early to know how well they will fare this time around. One news source anticipated this event to bring $600 million into the local business ecosystem.
