Today is the 56th Super Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Typically, this sports event is a big revenue generator for local businesses (e.g., restaurants, motels, Airbnb), but given the continuing impact of the pandemic, it’s too early to know how well they will fare this time around. Super Bowl LVI Business Connect offered support to minority, woman, LGBTQ+, and veteran-owned businesses through professional development, networking, and contract opportunities, but applications closed early in 2021. Throughout the coming year, look for similar opportunities for Super Bowl LVII, to be held in Glendale, AZ, on February 12, 2023. #IdeaoftheDay
