Super Bowl LV

Today is the 55th Super Bowl in Tampa, FL. Local businesses owned by women, minorities, veterans, and LGBTQ entrepreneurs were offered the opportunity to compete for Super Bowl contracts. Typically, this sports event is a big revenue generator for local businesses (e.g., restaurants, motels, airbnb), but given COVID-19 it’s too early to know how well they fared this time around. Post-Super Bowl, Verizon has a live, Big Concert for Small Business at 11 pm ET, hosted by Tiffany Haddish. #IdeaoftheDay
