A special visa program had been set to start this month, but has been postponed until March 2018. The program, called the international entrepreneur rule, would have allowed foreign entrepreneurs with U.S. government grants of $100,000, venture capital of $250,000, or a showing that the business would provide a significant public benefit to the U.S. to remain in the country for 30 months, with renewable terms.
