State Tax Amnesty Programs

A number of states have programs under way this year. New Jersey’s program for delinquencies from February 1, 2009 through September 1, 2017, likely will begin on November 1, 2018, and run through January 15, 2019. It allows for the payment of back taxes without interest or penalties. Connecticut’s amnesty program for sales taxes runs through November 30, 2018.
