According to Visa’s State of Female Entrepreneurship, 79% of female entrepreneurs in the U.S. feel more empowered today than they did 5 years ago, yet 73% still find funding to be difficult to obtain. The top 3 motivators for women, nationally, to start a business are pursuing their passion (48%), having financial independence (43%), and flexibility (41%). Women said their top concerns are assembling a good team (37%), finding the right tools (36%) and dealing with competitors (36%).
