According to the National Retail Federation, it’s expected that 61% of all U.S. adults will celebrate today. Of those celebrating, 92% are making purchases. Expected spending is expected to be $43.84 on average, for a total of $6.85 billion (about the same as last year’s $42.33 on average). In fact, 80% will celebrate by wearing green.
