Small Businesses Hit Hard by Identity Theft

According to ITRC’s 2021 Business Aftermath Report, 58% of all small businesses experienced at least one security breach or data breach or both. There’s a devastating price tag for these problems: 44% paid between $250,000 and $500,000 to fix the problem. This forced many to dip into cash reserves or go into debt.
