Small Business Tax Climate Index

The Tax Foundation’s Small Business Tax Climate Index 2023 found that Wyoming had the best index this year, followed by South Dakota, Alaska, Florida, and Montana. The worst states were New Jersey, New York, California, Connecticut, and Maryland. The index factors in the corporate tax, individual income tax, sales tax, property tax, and unemployment insurance tax. #IdeaoftheDay
