The Congressional Research Service posted a report describing the main federal tax benefits for small businesses; in the report they are referred to as “small business tax preferences.” The report notes that estimates by the Joint Committee on Taxation for fiscal years 2021 suggest that these benefits may total up to $18 billion. #IdeaoftheDay
