The SBA’s Office of Advocacy released its annual State Profiles. It provides information on how many small businesses are in each state and territory, how many employees they employ, how many jobs they create, how many businesses opened and closed, what industries have the most small businesses, what demographic groups own the most small businesses, and how much do small businesses export. The report shows there are 33.2 million small businesses in the U.S., employing 63.7 million employees (46.4% of all U.S. employers). #IdeaoftheDay
