The most recent NFIB Small Business Optimism Index found that small businesses continue to grow their staff. In fact, 64% of small businesses reported hiring or trying to hire (up 1 point from the previous month), 89% of these businesses reported few or no “qualified” applications for the positions they were trying to fill.
