Remembering President Lincoln’s Birthday Today

Prior to enactment of the Monday Holiday Act in 1968 creating Presidents Day, this date used to be a federal holiday (it’s still a legal holiday in about half a dozen states). For small business owners, it’s a good idea to remember Lincoln failed as an entrepreneur in 1833, but ultimately succeeded in life. He said: “When you reach the end of the rope, tie a knot and hang on.”  #IdeaoftheDay
