Reimbursements to employees for moving expenses incurred after 2017 are no longer tax free. But the IRS reminded employers that reimbursements in 2018 for such expenses incurred in 2017 are tax free. Employers that treated the reimbursements as taxable should address adjustments or refunds to employment taxes.
