A federal judge issued an injunction against implementation of the DOL’s final rule that had been set to take effect on December 1. Manta’s survey of small business owners found that despite the overtime rules being postponed, 84% of small business owners will move forward with salary changes or reclassifying employees. The survey also found that 23% of small business owners said they feel “relieved” that the regulation has temporarily been blocked.
