The Small Business Employees Retirement Enhancement Act (S. 3219) would allow small businesses to pool retirement plans together (i.e., become multiemployer plans). This would cut administrative costs for businesses that join the pool as well as reduce fiduciary risk. Other retirement plan changes are also under consideration in Congress.
