Pay your federal taxes with bitcoin?

A bill introduced in the House (H.R. 8822) would require the Treasury to implement a method to allow for the payment with bitcoin of any tax imposed on an individual. There is no mention in the proposal to allow payment in bitcoin by corporations. If the bill is enacted, it would apply to payments made one year after the date of enactment. #IdeaoftheDay
