The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI) agreed to launch a new work-sharing arrangement. This will allow for those with U.S. patents to more easily obtain patent protection in Mexico. Under the agreement there will be a parallel patent grant framework.
