OSHA has a COVID-19 enforcement program under the National Emphasis Program started last July to inspect employers in “high hazard” industries. These include health care (e.g., nursing homes), manufacturing, warehousing, and meat processing. The OSHA inspection includes a look at readiness for future COVID-19 surges.
