Starting on May 7, 2025, you need REAL ID to board a domestic flight. A REAL ID is a state driver’s license or state ID that meets certain criteria. There’s a map at the Department of Homeland Security showing the states with licenses and IDs that meet REAL ID criteria. Other acceptable forms of identification for boarding domestic flights are listed here. #IdeaoftheDay
