Old E-Verify Records Are Being Disposed Of

E-Verify requires Employers to record or print and file the E-Verify case number for each corresponding for Form I-9, Employer Eligibility Verification. You have one month to download case information from the Historic Records Report if you want to retain information about E-Verify cases. The last day to do this is June 23, 2023. On June 24, 2024, the USCIS will dispose of E-Verify records that are more than 10 years old (those last updated on or before December 31, 2012). Learn more from the USCIS Fact Sheet. #IdeaoftheDay
