Merriam-Webster Dictionary adds new words each year. This year’s list of 200 new entries includes For You Page (FYP) (a noun, social media feed with personalized content based on a user’s interest), touch grass (idiomatic phase, to participate in normal activities in the real world as opposed to online experiences), nepo baby (noun, a person who gains success or opportunities through familial connections), cash grab (noun, greedy pursuit of an opportunity for making money without regard to ethics, concerns, or consequences), and shadow ban (noun, to cause a user or their content to be hidden from some or all other users). #IdeaoftheDay
