At least 3% of all federal contracting dollars is supposed to go to service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs). On January 1, the SBA took over the certification program for disabled veteran small businesses from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Eligible business owners can self-certify.
