New Sales Tax Tool for Remote Sellers

If you sell goods or services to buyers in a state that’s different from yours, you may still be required to collect and remit sales tax on the transaction (each state has its own rules, and 5 states have no sales tax). Poshmark, an online marketplace for buying and selling fashion, announced a new tool called Posh Remit to help its sellers with this sales tax responsibility. It will automatically calculate, collect, and remit state and local sales taxes for sellers.
