Nearly One-Third of Small Businesses Lack a Website

That’s the finding of the May 2016 SurePayroll Small Business Scorecard®. Many said that the Internet doesn’t play a significant role in their businesses. Of those with websites, about half (52%) used an outside firm to build it, but 17% did it themselves with the help of a service, such as Squaresapce or Wix, and 11% did it entirely on their own. Nearly three quarters (74%) of those with websites say they’re mobile-friendly.
