Native American Heritage Month 2025

This month was established to recognize the significant contributions the first Americans made to the establishment and growth of the U.S. The theme for 2025: “Lessons in Resilience, Story, and Difference.” According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are an estimated American Indian- or Alaska Native-owned 47,519 American Indian and Alaska Native-owned businesses with $78.5 billion in receipts; 333,153 employees; and approximately $14.6 billion in annual payroll. The SBA has an Office of Native American Affairs, which offers free technical assistance for a variety of business types. #IdeaoftheDay
