National Safety Stand-Down May 1-5

OSHA is sponsoring this annual event, which began 10 years ago, to draw attention to the leading cause of death for construction workers. Per OSHA, any workplace can hold a stand-down by taking a break to focus on “Fall Hazards” and reinforcing the importance of “Fall Prevention.” It can also be an opportunity for employees to talk to management about fall and other job hazards they see.
