May is National Inventors Month. Started in 2011 by the Academy of Applied Science and Inventors’ Digest magazine, it recognizes the curiosity and imagination of those who innovate and create. In cooperation with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, The National Inventors Hall of Fame recognizes creators, innovators and entrepreneurs who represent diverse fields, backgrounds and accomplishments and select some to be inducted each year. Here’s the 2025 class of inductees. Their inventions range from cancer treatments to satellite-based imaging. These 17 noteworthy inventors (some posthumously) are being inducted into the Hall of Fame today. #IdeaoftheDay
