First established by executive order in 1969, the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) has been routinely funded on a bipartisan basis but without any statutory stability. The Agency’s purpose: to help small businesses in minority communities grow and create jobs. The Infrastructure and Jobs Act of 2021 makes the Agency permanent. #IdeaoftheDay
