Lawsuits More Costly for Small Businesses

That’s the finding of the SBE Council. “While small businesses account for only 20% of [business] revenue, they bear 48% of commercial tort costs, which amounts to $160 billion. This pattern is even more pronounced for the smallest companies. Businesses with under $1 million in annual revenues account for only 7% of revenues and yet bear 34% of the commercial tort liability costs.” #IdeaoftheDay
