According to the monthly NFIB jobs report, 52% of small businesses are hiring or trying to hire. However, 47% are finding few or new qualified job applicants. This has led 22% of owners to cite the difficulty in finding qualified workers as their single most important business problem, exceeding taxes or the cost of regulation.
