That’s what small business owners are saying, according to Alignable’s September Hiring Poll. It found that 66% of small businesses said the labor shortage was getting worse (up 7% since August). In some industries, the challenges are extreme, with 85% of restaurants reporting difficulty in hiring. Alignable also learned in its poll that the No. 1 way employers have found people to hire (37%) is through personal referrals and networking. #IdeaoftheDay
