The IRS has launched a crowdsourcing challenge to improve the taxpayer experience for the future. The contest is scheduled to begin on April 17; the deadline is May 10, 2016. The prize money is being offered by the Mortgage Bankers Association. Of course, the winner is giving the government a royalty-free license for the design. Federal employees and federal contractors are ineligible.
