A bill in Congress would allow small community banks to exclude interest on loans made to small businesses. The Access Business Credit (ABC) Act (S. 1226; H.R. 4805) is intended to incentivize these banks to make small business loans by easing their tax burden. Chances of enactment for this bipartisan measure: who knows?
