The U.S. Census Bureau’s recent Pulse Survey found that nationwide, 37.7% of small businesses have been affected by the pandemic, but results vary by state (click on the map to see results in your state). In New York, for example, 50.7% of small businesses said they were affected. The Census Bureau is conducting a new survey; check back in August.
