The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office increased the fees charged for obtaining trademark protection, effective today. You can see a summary of the 2025 trademark fees here; the increases are not dramatic. Note that the fees for Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS) Plus and TEAS Standard are replaced with one base application fee for applications under Trademark Act sections 1 and 44 (the basic applications). #IdeaoftheDay
