High employee turnover in 2024?

According to an Express Employment Professionals-Harris Poll, one third of hiring managers anticipate high turnover this year. The average cost of turnover (to rehire and lost productivity) is nearly $37,000 per worker and the unstated cost of the increased burden on remaining employees. Why the turnover? Main reasons cited were better pay and benefits elsewhere and increased workplace demands as well as terminations and retirement.  #IdeaoftheDay
