Helping Angels Lead Our Startups (HALOS) Act (H.R. 4498) would permit angel investor groups established by local governments, nonprofits, and universities to hold events designed to let entrepreneurs showcase their works (a là Shark Tank). This bipartisan bill was approved by the Financial Services Committee earlier this month and is awaiting a vote by the House.
