According to a survey by LegalZoom, un- and underemployed Americans are thinking about starting businesses. In fact, 62% of adults facing un- or underemployment are somewhat or very likely to start their own businesses with 12 months. The main motivations for wanting to start a business: desire for flexibility (60.4%), desire for independence (60%), greater income potential (51.5%), job insecurity or job loss (27%), concern about the job market (26.9%), and passion for a business idea (24%). #IdeaoftheDay
