An increasing number of businesses won’t accept payment in cash. This simplifies accounting for payments and eliminates potential lost money and robberies. But before you take this action, make sure it’s legal. Massachusetts requires businesses to accept cash. And other locations are currently considering the same. And by not accepting cash (even if permitted to do so), you lessen the scope of potential customers (about 29% of Americans don’t have any credit cards).
