According to a Clutch survey, 36% of employees have at least one part-time gig and 17% are currently looking for a gig. A quarter of the managers at their day jobs are unaware of their moonlighting. Issues for employers to consider: conflicts of interest, employees’ level of performance on the job, and whether a written policy regarding gig work (e.g., disclosure to the employer) is desirable.
