Generative AI Beneficial to Small Businesses

According to Gusto’s 2024 State of Small Business survey, nearly one-third of small businesses have experimented with GenAI and a quarter are benefiting from incorporating into their companies. Some key findings: businesses that use GenAI were less likely to report difficulty in hiring in 2024; employees at businesses using GenAI were much more likely to exceed expectations; Millennial and Gen Z business owners are more likely to utilize GenAI in their operations than older generations. Interestingly, a third of small businesses in the professional services sector use GenAI while only one-fifth of businesses in the personal services sector do. #IdeaoftheDay
