Gender Bias Persists

A survey by OnePoll in conjunction with SurePay found that 62% of women said they experienced gender bias in the office. In fact, 36% said they’d been passed over for a promotion in favor of a man in the last 5 years. This bias is displayed in hiring and promotion practices, wages, and sexual harassment. Check your company policies to ensure your workplace is fair because it’s the right thing to do and because it’s essential during this Great Resignation period when nearly half of women have switched careers due to sexism. #IdeaoftheDay
