Fine Increased for Posting Violations

The EEOC requires employers (with 15 or more employees plus all federal contractors) to post notices in prominent and accessible work locations of certain labor law provisions, including civil rights, Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act. Starting today, the maximum fine increases to $525 per violation (up from $210). Find the “EEO Is the Law” poster here.
