Entrepreneurship in Decline

That’s the finding from the SBE Council’s recent report. The trend in the last decade is millions of lost businesses (an estimated 722,000 incorporated self-employed, 2.2 million unincorporated self-employed and 735,000 employer firms). If pre-recession activity had occurred in 2015, there would have been 106,000 startups last year that would have been operating this year.
